Ask About Upcoming EventsStep into a landmark where Gold Rush history meets unforgettable nights, unique spaces, and the energy of Old Sacramento.
In 1855, the Union Hotel rose on Second Street, replacing the earlier Verandah Hotel. In Sacramento's bustling Gold Rush years, the Union and its neighbor, the Orleans Hotel, helped anchor the city's social, political and commercial life.
With stagecoaches nearby and steamboats arriving at the waterfront, this was a place where journeys began, business was done, and Sacramento's next chapter was written.
Today, we're bringing fresh energy to a historic destination: spaces to gather, celebrate, explore, and make memories of your own.
